MERCY THROUGHOUT 2017 We ended the Jubilee Year of Mercy on November 20, 2016 but the practice of mercy contin- ues through out every your of our life. At the Christmas dinner many people donated canned goods for the pantry at Catholic Social Services, evidence of the Corporal Works of Mercy. Thank you so much Because God has given us mercy we are called in turn to bless other with mercy. Yes! All of us can be ministers of Mercy in the ordinary circumstances of our lives. We minister mercy through acts of kindness like when we help people find healing for hurts that will not go away or memories that still cause anxiety and worry. We minister mercy when we forgive and give love to others. We minister mercy when we affirm the dignity of every person we meet and those we don’t. Let mercy become a regular part of your life this new year. Why not adopt the motto “Mercy 365”.
