Do you love the Catholic faith, enjoy meeting new people, and wish to see our St Columba family grow in numbers through the influence of the Holy Spirit? Well, we all know that practicing in our Catholic faith is not a spectator sport, but requires active participation, evangelizing the Word and serving as a Christian role model! The St Columba “One Community” initiative affords each parishioner the opportunity to put their Catholic faith into action by volunteering as an Ambassador. The Ambassador Program “shares the light of Christ with parishioners and St Columba visitors through acts of service that create a One Community culture.” The goal of the Program is to encourage the growth of a “One Community” culture based upon acts of service, enthusiasm, and joyful giving.
Purpose of
Ambassador Program
The purpose of the Ambassador is to provide 1st line discipleship to new / returning parishioners. Ambassador Program volunteers welcome new individuals / families to the parish and manage the “One Community” experience before and after the liturgy. This is accomplished through outbound telephone calls, welcome events, and engagement team activities before and after the liturgy.
Ambassador Program Rules
